Hillary and Obama...black at heart when necessary

You have to give Hillary and Obama credit.... when it calls on them to be "black"... they surely are black.

Neither of them in the normal events of day speak as they do when they are in front of a black audience. At least Obama has the color to back him. I wonder when the African Americans will get their fill of being insulted and bolt?

Could she pass as an actress?

You be the judge.

It is strange to see a video with just a lot of still shots, but I agree that she will have a lot to clean up.

This is BS. Hillary and Bill Clinton have fought for the black people for almost as long as Barack Obama has been alive. Besides, Obama is only HALF black, remember.

Barack Obama and Abraham Lincoln speeches on race

Two different speeches for two very different times.  Abraham Lincoln needs no words from me to make him great. You cannot begin to compare the time of today to the time of Lincoln as far as civil rights go.

Tell me where civil rights is an issue today.  There is no person who is of able body and mind today who cannot achieve that which he wishes if he wants it badly enough and is willing to work for it.  Of course.... believing that sets everyone free... doesn't it... something people like Barack Obama do not want.. for then what power do they have over anyone?

Civil rights are always an issue silverstar. Only those who have never been discriminated against have the audacity to say otherwise. It's amazing to me how people don't understand that 45 years ago racism was LEGAL. You might say "45 years ago was a long time ago" - it's not that long ago at all. There are many voters alive today who grew up during a time when it was legal to discriminate against black people. Think about that. We are not that far removed. There is tons of discriminaton still taking place today. Not just against blacks of course. Against all minorities and against women and homosexuals and many other groups. It continues because people insist on remaining ignorant.

Barack Obama is trying to raise the level of discourse in this country - let's meet him there!

There will always be "discrimination" between people.. for we are all individuals and human. I would guess you have "discrimination" in your own family.

Civil rights? We are not in the same time as even 45 years ago. Today we all have the same civil rights... every single American.

There is no one in this country of able mind and body who cannot make a life for himself/herself through his/her own determination, will and work if he/she chooses today..... even starting from absolutely nothing at all. (Trying to be pc.. not discriminate between sexes here). Those who say they can't and need government to do it for them are just lazy... and again.. I am talking of those of able body and mind.
