48Hyacinths awaiting global warming.....
I am just wondering if anyone out there has any global warming they can send our way?
Here it is April 12 ..... we have SNOW .... and the hyacinths are crying.
I don't know how or why we are under attack so completely by this global warming theory.
The earth has always undergone changes in its temperatures and they are all controlled by the sun .. not man.... all you have to do is look at the history of this planet .. and I have yet to read where relevant climatologists or scientists agree with this onslaught.
I am a biological scientist .. medical and pharmaceutical research.. so can't claim expertise in this field .. but I consider myself to have common sense and I do read.
Anyhow.. if you happen to have an excess of the stuff.. that global warming .. in your area ... PLEASE send it our way!

This seems like a perfect example of the lunacy of the warming religion. "No carbon in the past" Where is it YOU think diamonds came from? What is it you think plants give off in their life cycle?
The global warming entusiasts count on making alot of money by playing on the fears of the unknowing.. those not knowledgeable of the facts.. and those who follow that thinking and vote these people into positions of power had better not be the ones crying when the price of food and gas and everyting else triples because of the mad rush to "green" fuel and everything that goes with the silly mantra of "going green".
It is a pathetic joke able to be employed because of the ignorance of the people.
I agree with your views silverstar, but the problem is not the "going green" mantra as you place it. The problem is the negativism about the global warming theory. Whether you like it or not, we're all being affected by it. We all keep arguing on who is to blame that soon enough, there will be no more nature as we know it. We keep on blaming and do not act upon it.
Perhaps you might want to brushen up on your Global Warming facts before deciding to argue the point on those "Pro-green" activists

The "facts" supporting global warming are not facts at all.. just theories written by man. The "facts" concerning climate are it is always in a cycle.
Pollution is one thing... global warming? Perhaps... but next it will be global cooling.. both a part of the climatic cycle. As far as pollution goes... which can affect all of us with bad air etc... no one has been better at cleaning up our environmental pollution than us.. we in the US.
We are definitely all being affected by the global warming theory.. in our cost of living.
Man becomes quite arrogant indeed when he starts to believe he can control the whole of nature itself.
I do not want to against or for the pro-environmentalists, but why not cooperate? It will only make our lives better in the future anyhow. And note, I am not from the US, I'm from the Philippines. The effects of pollution is felt full here: factories spew deadly gases, rivers run brown with debris, and people litter. The government is doing everything, yet why is there still pollution? It's because the people WOULD NOT cooperate with the government.
Taking care of our environment is our resposnibility. I have never been to the Phillipines so cannot of course speak of what you are living with.... but you are right.. the people have to become aware that it is they alone who can clean up their environment. Well it's actually called global climate change because when the whole earth temperature increase even by a fraction of a degree it changes the weather patterns- which can mean hotter than usual weather some places and crazy weather like your April snow in other areas. Global warming trends have happend before but not so quickly or in such close correlation to the rise of the industrial revolution.
