The Democratic Congress wrings its hands and says there is just nothing to do. They cry about how OPEC won't listen to them in their demands to have the oil cartel pump more oil.

There is nothing to do about these high gas prices except to tax those oil companies even higher.

Tax them more? That will fix the prices? You can answer that.

The oil companies don't pay those taxes... we do.. at the pump.

How to fix the cost of gas?

Open up every oil field we own in the United States. If that was done.. you can believe the oil companies would be working as hard and fast as they could to get those drill rigs up and pumping .. and just the announcement alone to the world would have an immediate effect on the cost of oil. OPEC would hear that.

Competition. It works wonders.

We have the oil. Why in the world do we not use it??? Congress cries that we need to break our dependence on foreign oil... yet .. we cannot use our own oil. it is madness... pure plain madness.

How in the world did these idiots get the power they have to stop us from using that which we have .. free and clear .. in our land.. for our benefit????

Did you vote for them? That is how they get the power. They are elected into office.

Brazil just found a new oil field that they will open for drilling. If we announced the opening of every oil field we own .. the cost of oil would drop immediately. Common sense tells us that.

Competition. It works wonders.

Drill for our own oil. Drill for oil in the United States.

Capitalism.

Freedom.

Let's become free from foreign oil.

Call your government representatives.

You do have a voice. Using it to cry about the cost of gas will not change things. Using it to call your Senator and Representatives will.

Use it. Demand they work for our right to drill for our own oil.

What's happening here in our United States is pathetic.Are we allowing it to happen by keeping our mouths closed?
